Illuminations: My work is primarily about process, and in this
particular series light alone serves as the medium with which to
explore and experiment with this theme. I'm intrigued by the energy and intangibility of
light, and find that it provides countless opportunities
with which to process abstract thought. Working on this series has proven to be a lesson
in patience and trust. Patience, in that I often find my process to
be lengthy and fraught with challenge. Trust, in that I must yield
to my process if I'm to succeed in creating anything meaningful. |
